I thank close friends for reminding me that RUGBY the game they loved in their youth, was one that I learned, and couldn't play, do to a couple different minor problems: eyeglasses being the first and primary...

And loved it again when I moved to Colorado in 1973, having attended many of the Gentlemen of Aspen's tourney, the Ruggerfest ... as a spectator...

And the International Rugby Board (IRB) has laid out online its pages devoted to doping control... read it here.

But last weekend, the Swiss Romand newspaper Le Temps, published an interesting factoid: the average weight for an inside player in International competition, has increased from an average weight of 92kg to 111kg... sort of what happened in the NFL in the 1980s and 1990s.

And that's food for thought...
